General terms and conditions

Annual pass

  • There are 34 lessons per season, held weekly. If a student is absent, a lesson is considered missed and cannot be made up. If the teacher cancels a lesson, the lessons will be postponed for a week. At the end of the season, any lessons missed due to the teacher's cancellation will be refunded.
  • Payment in two installments is possible; payment in multiple installments can be discussed.
  • To terminate lessons, there is a notice period of 8 lessons (2 months). Any remaining lessons after this period will be refunded. Students can always purchase additional individual lessons.

Strip card

  • A strip card, with credit for 5 or 10 lessons, is purchased in advance by the student. An invoice will be sent for this. The total number of lessons on this card is paid in advance. Payment in two installments is also possible upon consultation.
  • Lessons are scheduled with the teacher on a case-by-case basis, depending on the availability of both the student and the teacher.
  • A lesson card is personal and valid for one year from the date of issue. If lessons are stopped prematurely, any remaining lessons on the card will not be refunded or transferred to another person. A maximum of 20 lesson cards can be purchased per season.

Terms and conditions

  • Lessons with a lesson card can be rescheduled by a student up to 48 hours in advance. If a student cancels a lesson less than 48 hours in advance, it will be charged as a missed lesson.
  • Lessons from an annual pass cannot be rescheduled or made up.
  • In principle, school holidays are adhered to by region. If there is sufficient interest, lessons can be held during the holidays as needed. This is not mandatory.
  • In case of teacher illness, lessons will be rescheduled. If a student is ill, lessons will generally not be made up or refunded.
  • Lessons are individual. If there is sufficient interest, group lessons can be offered a few times a year.
  • Photos may be taken during Bas de Rode's lessons, recitals, and other activities. These can be posted and downloaded on his website, Facebook, and Instagram. By participating in these activities, you automatically consent to the use of these photos, unless you explicitly disagree.
  • By paying the invoice you automatically agree to the general terms and conditions of derodecellist.nl
