Different sizes of cellos
Cellos are available in various sizes, so players of all ages and heights can find a suitable instrument. The available sizes are:
- 1/8 – for young children
- 1/4
- 1/2
- 3/4
- 7/8
- 4/4 – the full size for adults
For young beginners, there are special children's cellos that, despite their size, can do everything a full-sized cello can. We'll work with you to find the best size for you, so you can play comfortably and learn effectively.

As a student, you can rent a cello from me at a reduced rate. Don't have the right instrument in stock? No problem, I'm happy to help.
You can rent, buy, or have cellos repaired from various violin makers. This way, you can be sure you're getting a high-quality instrument.
