Ensemble training and ensemble playing

For me, the best part of making music is playing together with other musicians, whether in a small ensemble or a large orchestra. That's why I pay a lot of attention to the following in my lessons:

  • Ensemble skills: listening, responding, and communicating musically.
  • Orchestral parts and chamber music: interpretation and role within the ensemble.
  • Collaborate with other instrumentalists: for example pianists or string players.

Broad musical development

Besides playing itself, we also pay attention to:

  • Hearing training: learn to listen better to yourself and others.
  • Reading notes and music theory: for a deeper understanding of music.
  • Posture and ergonomics: to prevent injuries and play in a relaxed manner.

Do you want to improve your cello playing, prepare for an ensemble, or simply continue to enjoy playing? Then contact us for a trial lesson! Together, we'll ensure that you, as an advanced cellist, continue to grow and enjoy making music.
